If you are interested our service and would like a disk of everything we shoot at a lower rate we do offer options. The prices above are set to industry standard for keepsake photography creation. We give it everything we have got and do whatever it takes to create the best images for you possible. If it means putting on wigs, blowing horns, doing cartwheels and performing magic we can and will do it. We do not require a purchase agreement for our basic keepsake session and we only charge for the expense of getting the job done as the session fee. The session fee is collected upfront to secure the date so we know the family we put on the calendar is certain about having a family photo day. Once the images are online you do not have to order anything, there is no minimum purchase agreement. We take this risk because when subjects feel the image and not just the paper in their hand, the emotional value we have created makes being a photographer the best job imaginable. Drawing tears of joy from images to be cherished for the rest of your life is a commitment to you we make with pride. For the families who are looking for a quick session and would prefer control while the photographer takes a backseat role, the sessions below are available showing a reduced labor fee. 

Follow The Leader: $350 total fee
For everything we shoot in one hour burned to disk with a full rights release form you pay just $350. This session is for families who are on the fence about hiring a professional and cannot decide if a tripod and camera timer, or maybe asking a neighbor would get the job done. We will come to your location with top of the line digital SLR cameras, tell you where the people should be to get the best images at your location and shoot 5 to 10 frames of each group. No candid images or posed groups by the photographer will be created. Posing is the exclusive responsibility of the family members. The photographer will gladly use as many personal cameras as you would like so everyone can have a copy on their own camera if desired. You will receive a disk with full resolution, color corrected images for printing or to use anyway you wish. If requested we will also put these images online for you to order.

Mini Session:  20-30 minutes of shooting time $75 session fee with the option to purchase images on disk for $300 or order prints online

Mid Afternoon Sessions: $350 + $150 session fee = $500 total fee
Most sessions we shoot are when the light is soft at the end of the day. We can only provide this level of quality light to one family per day. If you would like to shoot earlier you can expect hard shadows, squinting and heat which may shorten the amount of time the subjects are willing to participate. We can compensate for these photo negatives by shooting inside, in shadows under a pier or under tree cover at parks. Due to the limited shooting location options and lower expected image count, mid day and early afternoon sessions are offered at a reduced disk fee of $350 when a session fee of $150 is received to book the date. To receive this offer the total balance of $500 must be received before or during the session

Unlike the 100% satisfaction guaranty we offer with our keepsake sessions the reduced options above are non refundable once payment has been received. Tom Sapp Photography offers 3 photographers. Your shooter will be based on availability. We offer multiple shooters allowing you the security of knowing if a shooter gets sick or any unforeseen circumstances arise your session will continue as scheduled. Tom Sapp is our primary shooter. Our 2 other shooters have been trained by Tom to provide an equally reliable service. As a general rule during the busy season Tom handles customer care overseeing product creation and customer communication at the studio while shooting keepsake sunset sessions at the end of the day. Not all sessions are photographed by Tom however our promise is that the quality and reliability will be the same when a representative of Tom Sapp Photography is contracted. To my photographer of 5 years,

Today I am writing for a couple of reasons.  I have some quiet time at the moment and need to get a couple of things off my mind.  I will leave this for my husband to deliver to you when he is ready.

You photographed my wedding, you photographed my first pregnancy and my first baby.  I contacted you awhile back to photograph my 2nd child and family.  After getting prices and realizing I would want all of the pictures as we love your work – I decided against spending $500+ – which is what I normally spend for portraits and prints with you..  Please know it is not because I don't value your amazing eye, or how much we love the experience.

That week that I decided to NOT do a session with you, this is how I spent some money.

On Sunday I called and cancelled our session.  Monday I went out and got my hair cut ($39+tip), and colored ($65), Thursday I had my nails done ($24), my family went out to dinner at a somewhat expensive restaurant for no particular reason costing us $79 + tip.  This was just 4 days since canceling our session, already totaling over $200 for un necessary things.  My nails only lasted about 2 weeks, my hair is gone, and seven weeks passed when I got the phone call from our doctor.  It was not something I expected and the cancer has spread very quickly.  I will be leaving my husband, my 6 year old girl and my now 2 year old – not by choice.  It is very hard for me to talk about it which is why I need to write you.

I watch your Facebook page and your posts about the value of a photo and if I could give back all of those things that I purchased this few weeks after I cancelled my session with you, knowing what I know now, and have that session, well… I would do it in a heartbeat. 

Now my time is done and there are no more chances for me.  The next time someone cancels a session – my wish is that you forward this letter to them.  Time is fragile, it is gone before you know you had it.  If you charged $200 for one print it wouldn't be enough for what it is actually worth.  I cringe to think that my priorities were a manicure over a memory to pass onto my babies and husband.

My love and thanks for what you have given us from past photos.  I am so sorry that I did not see it as more than paper until now.
